HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 25, 2016) – Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis senior Matthew Heinrich became the first player in the history of the program to record his 100th career singles win Monday, in an 8-1 victory for the No. 21 Ducks over The College of New Jersey.

The honor is another in a long list as the Stevens veteran is already the program's all-time wins leader at singles and doubles.

The win moved Stevens to 14-7, while TCNJ fell to 9-6.

Heinrich and senior Ben Foran continued their dominance at doubles this spring with an 8-3 win at first, followed by junior Michael Feldman and sophomore Danny Polk's 8-2 win at third.

The win moved Feldman/Polk's record to 3-0 this season, while Heinrich/Foran rose its record to 14-2. Sophomore Kyle Henry and freshman Kyle Cenderelli completed the sweep soon after with an 8-6 victory at second.

Heinrich continued the rout with the milestone win at first, followed by Foran's match-clincher in the form of a 6-1, 6-4 win at fourth. Junior Charles Drake won in a tiebreaker in the first set at third before completing the win with a 6-0 win in the second set at third, before Polk won his eighth straight with a 4-6, 6-4, 10-5 win at second.

TCNJ picked-up its first win of the day with a 7-5, 6-3 victory at fifth, but it came after Henry's 7-5, 6-2 win at sixth that sealed the 8-1 win.

The Ducks will wrap up their regular season Saturday when they host Hartwick College and Utica College starting at 11 a.m. in Hoboken.
