Ithaca and Stevens Women Appear in USTFCCCA Rankings
The Ithaca College and Stevens Institute of Technology women's outdoor track and field teams appear in the latest NCAA Division IIII U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Team Computer Rankings.
Scores in the National Team Computer Rankings were determined by the USTFCCCA computers using preseason event rankings that include the top marks of the recent NCAA outdoor track & field seasons by returning student-athletes and the top marks of the young 2016 campaign.
The closer an athlete is to the top of her event rankings, the more points she earns toward the team total. Points from all applicable athletes are added up to determine team scores.
Ithaca moved into the top 25 as they jumped from No. 27 to No. 19 with 48.63 points. Stevens moved up two spots to No. 21 with 45.69 points.
