Fisher Sweeps Hartwick
The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 win over host Hartwick College on Friday. With the win, Fisher improves to 5-5 overall and 1-1 in the Empire Conference.
Kevin Kulawiec won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles, while
Quinn Magiera prevailed 6-1, 6-2 at second singles. The duo also won their fifth consecutive match, notching an 8-2 win at first doubles.
At second doubles,
Adam Moran and
John Miller won 8-4. Moran (fifth singles) and Miller (sixth singles) also earned a point in singles action.
Jonathan Harper and
Jarrett Pelton combined to earn a point at third doubles. Pelton won in straight sets at fourth singles, while
Christian Barnes picked up a point at third singles.
Fisher returns to action on Saturday at Utica College.
