No. 21 Stevens Advances To Second Round Of NCAAs
HOBOKEN, N.J. (May 13, 2016) – The No. 21 Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team cruised to a comfortable 5-0 win over the University of Southern Maine Friday in the first round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
The win moved Stevens to 19-7, and advances it to tomorrow's second round against Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The loss ends Southern Maine's season at 11-3. The second round appearance will be the seventh in-a-row for Stevens.

Michael Feldman and sophomore
Danny Polk started the Stevens winning with an 8-0 victory at first doubles, followed soon after by an 8-1 win at second for sophomore
Kyle Henry and freshman
Kyle Cenderelli.
Seniors
Matthew Heinrich and
Ben Foran polished off the doubles sweep with an 8-1 win at first, handing Stevens the comfortable 3-0 lead heading into singles. The win moved Heinrich/Foran's record to a team-leading 18-2.
Stevens continued its dominance in singles, clinching the match with Feldman's 6-1, 6-0 win at sixth, and Henry's 6-1, 6-0 win at fifth. Heinrich, Polk, and junior

Tomorrow's match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
