Brandon Potter was recently named the ABCA/Diamond Regional Coach of the Year for the New York Region for 2016.
Potter became the winningest coach in the program's history with 210 wins for his career dating back to 2010.
Since taking over the helm, the baseball program has had four seasons with 30 plus wins with this year's campaign setting a single-season record for wins with 39 this spring. The team also saw it's first-ever trip to the NCAA Division III College World Series this year where they finished fifth in the national tournament. Prior to advancing to the CWS, the program claimed its first regional title, winning the Mid-Atlantic Regional.
In his seven years as the head coach, the program has tallied 77 All-Conference players, 36 All-Region selections, seven All-Americans and two Major League Baseball draft selections, with the most recent draftee coming in 2016.
