UC Wraps Up Day One at SLU Invite

Canton, NY – The Utica College men's team competed in the St. Lawrence Invitational at the Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course on Saturday. The Pioneers currently in a tie for seventh place after day one. Freshman Patrick Coughlin (New Hartford, NY/New Hartford) shot a 75 (+3) and currently sits in a tie for sixth place headed into day two. 

Freshman Christopher Netto (Watertown, NY/Watertown) began his collegiate career with an 81 (+9) and currently sits in a tie for 23rd place in the field of 61. Senior Kevin Kirisits (Buffalo, NY/Brockville (CCHL)) is +13 with a first round score of 85 and Easton Powers (South Lyon, MI/Port Huron (NAHL)) is in 42nd place with a score 86. Mason Munger (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa ) rounded out Utica's top five with a 91 and is currently tied for 50th place.

The Pioneers return to the course for day two of the SLU Invite on Sunday.
