Stevens No. 8 and Bombers No. 18 in NSCAA Rankings
The Stevens Institute of Technology and Ithaca College women's soccer teams are ranked in the lastest
National Soccer Coaches Association of America's (NSCAA) national rankings released Tuesday, Sept. 13.
Stevens (5-0-0) moved up six spots to No. 8, while Ithaca (4-0-0) moved up five spots to No. 18.
Stevens picked up a 2-0 victory over Vassar College on Sept. 10 and then sophomore
Misha Brewster scored twice to lead the Ducks to a 2-1 double-overtime win over New York University Sunday to win the Engineering Cup.
Stevens is back in action Sept. 17 for its Empire 8 Conference opener against Hartwick College.
On Sept. 7, Ithaca outlasted than ranked No. 24 Oneonta State as the Bombers held on for a 1-0 win in a tightly contested matchup. Four days later, Ithaca claimed a 1-0 double overtime win against Farmingdale State.
Ithaca will look for its fifth win of the season at 11 a.m. on Sept. 17 when it hosts Cortland at Carp Wood Field in the opening round of the Upstate Collegiate Cup.
