Park Paces Elmira at Steven A. Warde Invite
COBLESKILL, N.Y. -- Zac Park '17 led the Elmira College men's cross country team with a 31st-place finish at the Steven A. Warde Fighting Tiger Invitational, hosted by SUNY Cobleskill Saturday morning.
As a team, the Soaring Eagles finished ninth out of the nine programs represented with 238 points.
For Park, it marks the second time in as many races this season that he's finished first among the Purple and Gold participants. He completed the 5.2-mile course in 35.08.74 to claim 31st out of the 86 total runners.
After missing the season-opening race at Alfred State College a week ago,
Yoshi Yokoi '19 turned in an admirable performance in his 2016 debut. He finished second among the EC men in 63rd-place with a time of 39.55.41.
