Fisher Takes Second In Don Masterton Invite

The St. John Fisher College women's cross country team took second place on Saturday in the Don Masterton Invite at SUNY Oswego, finishing behind No. 2 ranked Geneseo.
 
Sammy Van Gee was the first runner to cross the line for Fisher, finishing with a time of 20:18.3.
 
The next three finishers for the Cardinals were all freshman. McKayla Crawford finished second among her teammates, completing the 5K race in 20:56.1, good for 18th place.
 
Gabriella Dunkelberg and Annielaura Shafer were not far behind, finishing with times of 21:13.4 and 21:30.6, respectively.
 
Sophomore Brenna Lyons would take 33rd place with a time of 21:58.0.
 
The Cardinals return to action next Saturday when they participate in the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invite, held at Genesee valley park in Rochester.
