Honorary Coaches and Cheerleaders Announced For Courage Bowl XII

The honorary coaches and cheerleaders for Courage Bowl XII were announced during the annual luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 22 hosted by The College at Brockport.

The Courage Bowl game will take place at Brockport's Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 24 with kickoff slated for 4 p.m.

The honorary coaches and cheerleaders for the Cardinals are: 
Danny Bookhart
Nolan Redhead
Camren Wright
Emily Button
Margaret Riordan
Haley Smith

The honorary coaches and cheerleaders for the Golden Eagles are:
Triniti Jefferds
Jacob Quinn
Ronald Powell
Jessica Richmond
Jaylin Parsons

On Saturday, the honorary coaches will be in the locker room with the team, lead them on to the field, be at mid-field for the coin toss, and coach from the sidelines during the game. The honorary cheerleaders will cheer with the Cheerleaders during the game.

At the luncheon, Gary Mervis, chairman and founder of Camp Good Days, also announced the recipients of the Fr. Joseph Lanzalaco Memorial Courage Award, who will be honored at halftime of the game. 

In addition to players and coaches from the Fisher Cardinals and the Brockport Golden Eagles football teams, elected officials, members of the College's administration, and Camp Good Days and Special Times staff and supporters also attended the luncheon.
