Fisher Places Seventh At Gordin Classic

The St. John Fisher College men's golf team finished tied for seventh overall in the Gordin Collegiate Classic, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University at Delaware Golf Club in
Delaware, Ohio.

The tournament was held over two days, and featured two rounds on Sunday, and the final round on Monday. Fisher posted a three-round total of 895.

Jeff Palmerino shot the Cardinal's lowest score, finishing with a 221 (+8). The senior shot his lowest single round score in round one with a 1-over-par 72.

Not far behind and tied for 21st was Joel Jakubowicz, who also shot a 72 in the first round. The senior ended the tournament with a total score of 222 (72, 74, 76).

Nicholas Calabrese finished with a 79, 76, and 74 (229), while Christopher Salone shot an 83, 71, and 77 (231). Karl Deuble finished his three rounds at 75, 76, and 83 (234).

Fisher returns to action on Saturday and Sunday when it competes in the Mid-Atlantic ECAC Regional Championship.
