Andrews Shatters Rushing Record in Heartbreaking Loss
BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The College at Brockport football team opened their 2016 campaign on Saturday, going toe-to-toe with Hobart College, but falling 41-35. The first game of the season was a battle for both teams with the game being tied five times, and no team ever leading by more than a touchdown. The Golden Eagles are 0-1 on the year, while the Statesmen are 1-0 on the season.

Dan Andrews had yet another impressive performance, rushing for 184-yards. The senior broke an almost 20 year old record, surpassing Adam Rodger, in all-time rushing yards. Rodger tabbed 3,876-yards from 1995-98, but Andrews reached 3,916-yards with a 42-yard run in the fourth quarter.
