Men’s Basketball Player – Houghton
Johnathan Stowe, Senior, Forward – Toronto, CAN/ Don Mills Collegiate Institute
In the team's only contest of the week against Pitt-Bradford, Johnathan Stowe recorded 16 points and a team high of 14 rebounds. Stowe also added one block and two assists in the game.
Men’s Basketball Rookie – St. John Fisher
Sammy Robinson, Freshman, Forward – Cederhurst, NY/Lawrence
In just 25 minutes of playing time Robinson went 7-for-9 from the field in the two games over the week, helping the Cardinals achieve a 1-1 record. After collecting five points in the week's first game against Colby Sawyer, the freshman notched 14 against Penn State-Behrend to set a career high. Robinson saw plenty of success from downtown during the two game stretch, hitting 5-of-6. The forward also performed well in the paint, collecting nine boards.
Women’s Basketball Player – Houghton
Madison Detwiler, Sophomore, Forward – Williamsburg, PA/Williamsburg
Madison Detwiler recorded her second double-double of the season as she went 7-for-11 from the field for a game-high 14 points in a win against Medaille. The sophomore also grabbed 10 rebounds.
Women’s Basketball Rookie – Stevens
Alison Criswell, Freshman, Guard – Arlington, VA/Yorktown
Alison Criswell registered her first career points against Lewis and Clark at the D3Hoops.com Classic in Las Vegas. Criswell tallied eight points on 2-of-5 from the field including one three-pointer.
