NFCA honors 46 E8 softball student-athletes

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) honored 46 student-athletes from the Empire 8 Athletic Conference (E8) as Easton / NFCA Scholar-Athletes for the 2016-17 academic year.

In order to qualify, a student-athlete must have achieved a 3.5 grade-point-average on a 4.0 scale during the 2016-17 academic school year.
 
A record 7,365 fastpitch softball players across seven membership divisions earned NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2016-17 academic year. NCAA Division I led the way with 1,843 student-athletes, while 1,825 in Division III garnered recognition, followed by 1,267 in Division II.
