"I am delighted to have Brandon Harrison return home to Alfred University to direct our communication efforts," Paul Vecchio, the Director of Athletics said. "From the first time I met Brandon after my first year here at AU I knew he had an uncommon work ethic, great love of athletics and how it fits into higher education, and a passion to always improve. Our Sports Information Office is in terrific hands with Brandon joining Chris Boswell, our assistant director, and I look forward to their efforts in keeping our external publics aware of the many accomplishments of Saxon student-athletes."

Harrison is a native of nearby Canisteo, NY and attended high school there where he was a soccer and baseball player.

During his stay as the Sports Information Graduate Assistant at Alfred University, he worked with long-time Sports Information Director, Mark Whitehouse and the school's first full-time Assistant Sports Information Director, Chris Boswell with whom he will continue to work with in his new role.
