Golden Eagles and Saxons Move Up in National Polls
The College at Brockport and Alfred University football teams have moved up in the most recent D3football.com poll and American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III poll.
The new D3football.com Top 25 poll has the Golden Eagles ranked 15th and the Saxons ranked 18th.
Brockport (5-0, 3-0) advanced one spot after posting a come from behind 52-38 win over Cortland, while Alfred (4-0, 2-0) advanced two spots in the ranking following a 21-3 victory over Buffalo State.
Brockport moved up two spots in the AFCA poll, while Alfred remained at No. 17.

Brockport will have a bye next week before two straight home games against Morrisville State (Oct. 14) and Hartwick College (Oct. 21).
The Saxons are in action on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 4 p.m. on the road against St. John Fisher College.
