Linda Vollkommer-Lynch led the Stevens Institute of Technology balloon inflation team at the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City to highlight a season of giving back to the community by Stevens Athletics.
Members of the balloon inflation team, which include student and student-athletes from numerous teams and organizations on campus, trained at MetLife Stadium early in November. Then, on Thanksgiving Eve, the team met on the Upper West Side of Manhattan to inflate the balloons, slept over at the American Museum of Natural History and then helped drive and carry the balloons and other attractions through the streets of New York in America's most popular Thanksgiving tradition.
