Empire 8 Women's Soccer Racks-up Six United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Honorees

The official All-East Region teams have been announced by the United Soccer Coaches and the Empire 8 Women's Soccer program had six student-athletes named all-region. E8 registered four first team honorees and landed two on the third team, respectively.
Stevens Institute of Technology goalkeeper Lindsey Mahnken and forward Julia Panko, Hartwick College defender Madision Miller and Nazareth forward Julia Delgatti are members of the First Team, while Nazareth defender Sarah Conroy and Stevens defender Katie Goncalves earned third team honors.
Mahnken started all 19 games for the Ducks this season and posted a .885 save percentage (.885) and 12 shutouts.
Panko led the league this year in the scoring triple crown of goals, assists and points. She had 10 goals and eight assists for a total of 28 points.
Miller led a Hartwick defense that surrendered only 10 goals in 20 games in 2017. The Hawks shutout 13 opponents, which was a program record. Miller also contributed offensively, as she scored two goals.
Delgatti led the Golden Flyers in scoring for the second year in a row. She amassed 22 points on 10 goals and two assists and totaled 24 goals over her two seasons with the Golden Flyers.
Conroy, who started all 18 games, and the Golden Flyers posted a .65 goals against average, .871 save percentage and 10 shutouts.
Goncalves started all 19 games for the Ducks this season. The defensive unit allowed 11 goals in 19 games.
