Elmira College student-athletes Hayden Harkins and Justin Porrett set Empire 8 records for three-point field goals made and assists in a game, respectively, on Saturday, December 16 against St. Lawrence.
Harkins made 11 3-pointers in the game to break the prevous mark set by Elmira's Ryan Bennett in 1999 and Stevens Institute of Technology's Anthony Passalacqua in 2009.
Porrett dished out 19 assists in the game to tie the previous conference record set by Nazareth's Corey McAdam in 2007.
