Tara Temple is the head athletic trainer at Stevens Institute of Technology.
Where did you attend college? What was your major? Where you a student-athlete? I attended undergrad at East Stroudsburg University and graduate school at Indiana State University. I majored in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine and competed I competed in basketball and tennis recreationally and in clubs.
What made you chose to attend the East Stroudsburg and Indiana State as an undergrad and/or graduate student? I choose to attend those school because of the Athletic Training/Sports Medicine programs.
How long have you been working at your Stevens? seven years
What interested you and brought you to Stevens? The diversity and looking for more experience.
What is the best thing about the Stevens Campus? The view.
When you hear “Stevens” what is the first word that comes to mind? Innovation
Who has been the most influential person during your career? Why? Colleen Shotwell is the head ATC at East Stroudsburg. She has done great things with the program there and is a great thing person to look up to.
What do you do in your spare time? I walk my dog Frank.
Top 3 things on your bucket list? Travel to Australia, Italy and Greece.
What is something most people don’t know about you? I am from a very small town with two traffic lights in Hughesville, PA.
