Tellekamp Breaks Pool Records at Cazenovia

Cazenovia, NY – The Utica College men's swim and dive team was on the road Friday, as it competed against Cazenovia College. The Pioneers were victorious, winning by a score of 124-27.
 
TJ Tellekamp earned two first place finishes individually, and broke two pool records on the day. Tellekamp's first record breaking performance came during his win in the 100-yard IM, with a time of 57.28. He then proceeded to swim a pool-record time of 49.06, on his way to coming in first in the 100-yard freestyle event. TJ capped the day off by joining forces with Keihin Lee, Aaron Gudrian, and Derek Hamilton as they won the 400-yard freestyle relay race.
 
The Pioneers have the rest of 2017 off, as they don't compete again until January 12th, 2018. The team will travel to Alfred University for a dual meet, starting at 1:30 p.m.
