E8 Spotlight: Lauren Rosenberg

Lauren Rosenberg (Smithtown, NY/Commack) is a senior on the Hartwick College women’s lacrosse team. She majors in Psychology.
Why did you choose to attend Hartwick? I chose Hartwick because from the second I stepped on campus and met the team they instantly made me feel like family. Not to mention it is a beautiful school and I had great academic opportunities.
What has been the greatest part of your experience as a college athlete? Has been being a part of the women’s lacrosse family and it makes it all memorable.
Who has been the most influential person during your athletic career? Why? My dad. He has been my coach in every sport since I was four years old. And even when I am away at school he is supportive and pushing me to get better.
Where do you see yourself in five years? I would like to be practicing physical therapy.
What do you like most about competing in the E8? The E8 is really competitive and allows me to push myself every time I am on the field.
What do you do in your spare time? Hang out with friends, listen to country music and watch Netflix.
Top 3 things on your bucket list? Travel to Spain. Meet the US Women’s National Soccer Team. Go to CMA Festival in Nashville.
What is something most people don’t know about you? In high school I took voice lessons.
