Barron Joins 1,000-Point Club
ITHACA, N.Y. (February 4, 2017) – Stevens Institute of Technology men's basketball senior
Patrick Barron became the 21st member of the 1,000-point club Saturday in the Ducks 98-88 Empire 8 road win over Ithaca.
The win moved Stevens to 16-4 (10-2), while Ithaca fell to 6-15 (2-10). Barron eclipsed the mark with a three three minutes into regulation, joining senior
Evan Klimchak as the two active members of the exclusion club.
Barron finished with 18 points on 6-for-12 shooting, while five Ducks in total hit double figures led by 21 from Klimchak. Freshman
Spencer Cook scored 14, and sophomore
Jayson Winick went for 13 points and four rebounds. In the paint, junior

Ryan Coffey combined for 17 boards.
Stevens shot 50 percent from the field and 48 percent from three, while defensively forcing 18 turnovers on the Bombers.
