Fisher Men's Basketball Ranked No.4 In Regional Rankings
The NCAA released its first men's basketball regional rankings of the 2016-17 season and St. John Fisher College finds itself as the No. 4 team in the East Region.
Fisher, which is 16-5 on the season after Tuesday night's 68-64 victory over Alfred University, ranks behind Rochester, St. Lawrence and Oswego State.
The Cardinals have won four straight games, posted a 9-2 record at home this season and is currently in first place in the Empire 8 Conference with an 11-1 record with four games to play.
This Saturday, February 11, Fisher welcomes Nazareth COllege to Bobby Wanzer Court for the second round of 'Battle of the Beaks' at 4 pm. The two teams faced off two weeks ago on January 26 and Nazareth handed Fisher its only E8 loss to date with a 75-67 final.
