Michele Hits Century Mark

Linda Michele earned her 100th career win on Monday as the nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College women's lacrosse team won its season-opener with a 21-3 triumph over Roanoke College in the Spring Fling Games in Port Charlotte, Fla. With the win, Fisher, which is ranked 14th in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll, improved to 1-0 in 2017 while the Maroons slipped to 0-3.
Now in her sixth season at the helm of the program, Michele, who owns a career record of 100-35, has guided the Cardinals to five straight Empire 8 Championships along with five consecutive appearances in the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship. Under Michele's direction, Fisher has won 15 games or more five times including a program record 17 wins in 2016.
