The Basics
  • Score: Stevens (337-322-659 (+83))
  • Location: Downingtown Golf Club - Downingtown, Pa.
  • Short Story: Reigning Empire 8 Golfer of the Week Frank Szucs shot 12-over-156, tying for eighth place, as the Stevens Institute of Technology golf team finished eighth out of 19 teams at the Rosemont Raven Invitational.
  • Also of note: Stevens was the only school besides hosting Rosemont to place two golfers inside the top 10.
  • The leaders: Hosting Rosemont College totaled a 37-over-613 to earn a 19-shot victory over Cabrini. Rosemont's Jordan Cook finished five shots ahead of Cabrini's Joseph Myers for the individual crown.

Top Finishers
  • Szucs shot 78 in each round to earn his second straight top-10 finish.
  • Joining Szucs in the top 10 was sophomore Jack Doherty, who finished in a tenth-place tie with a 14-over 156.
  • Junior Austin Binder finished third for Stevens with a 28-over-172 to place 54th.
  • Sophomore Ezekiel Zhao finished tied for 55th with a 29-over-173.
  • Junior Andrew Sanderson rounded out the team, placing 79th.
