ROCHESTER, NY – The Nazareth men's tennis team won its third-straight conference game on Friday, downing Hartwick 8-1.
Nazareth improves to 5-6 overall and 4-1 in Empire 8 play. Hartwick drops to 1-4 and 0-3, respectively.
Louis Rogers won a tight match at second singles, 4-6, 6-3, 10-4.
Dan Freilicher took third singles 6-0, 7-5.
Jameson Keppeler came out on top at fourth singles (6-0, 6-3),
Evan Vogue at fifth singles (6-3, 6-1), and
Jonathan Scudder at sixth singles (6-0, 6-1).
Lamar Hurt and Frielicher were victorious 8-5 at first doubles, while Rogers and Keppeler won by a matching score at second doubles.
Vogue and
Andy Lee earned the final point for Nazareth at third doubles 8-3.
