Four Corvias ECAC Athletes of the Week
The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the Corvias Players of the Week for the week of play ending April 16 and four Empire 8 student-athletes have been recognized.
Baseball – North
Player of the Week
Sam Little – Ithaca College, So., OF
Little helped lead Ithaca College to five wins last week including four in conference play as the team extended its winning streak to six games. Little combined to go 8-for-17 at the plate with 10 RBIs and seven runs scored. He also notched two doubles, a triple and home run for a .882 slugging percentage. The sophomore drew five walks in the week to account for a .583 on-base percentage. Against Rochester he went 1-for-3 with a pair of runs scored before a 2-for-5 performance with four RBIs against Houghton. In the three-game series against SUNY Canton, Little went 5-for-9 with five runs scored and five RBIs.

Offensive Player of the Week
Seth DeLisle – Nazareth College, Jr., M
DeLisle continued his dominance at the faceoff circle in two wins for the Golden Flyers as he went 33-for-44 (.750). He won 19-of-26 faceoffs, tallied a goal and had a career-high 14 ground balls in a 21-11 win over Utica. On Saturday, he won 14-of-18 faceoffs and grabbed 11 ground balls in an 11-3 win over Hartwick.

Track Athlete of the Week
Amy Regan – Stevens Institute of Technology, Sr.
At the Bucknell University Outdoor Classic last Friday, Regan took third overall in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:33.62, which was faster than 15 NCAA Division I runners. Regan’s time is the fastest time in Division III this season.

Field Athlete of the Week
Katherine Pitman – Ithaca College, Sr.
Pitman was the runner-up in the pole vault with a cleared height of 4.00 meters (13 feet, 1.5 inches) on Saturday at the Bucknell University Outdoor Classic. Pitman tied West Virginia's Maddie Gardner at 4.00 meters but finished second due to total attempts.
