HOWEY IN THE HILLS, Fla. – The St. John Fisher College men's golf team will begin its quest for a national championship Tuesday as the Cardinals compete in the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship at the Mission Inn Resort and Club's El Campeon and Las Colinas Golf Courses.

Fans can follow Fisher's progress hole-by-hole by visiting the online leaderboard, which can be accessed HERE.

Fisher, which earned an automatic bid into the field after taking home its seventh straight Empire 8 Championship in April after besting the field by 35 strokes, will look to improve upon last year's finish in the national tournament as the Cardinals notched their third top-ten finish in the last four seasons after placing 10th.

This season, Colin McGaugh, Christopher Salone, Karl Deuble, Joel Jakubowicz and Jeff Palmerino will vie to bring home the first team title in Fisher's history.  Golf also boasts an individual national championship as Scott Harris won the individual medalist at the national tournament in 2008.
