Dixon takes second in 10K at ECAC Championships

WESTFIELD, MA – The Alfred University men's track and field team had two competitors during the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Outdoor Championship meet on Wednesday.
Senior
Kevin Dixon (Rotterdam/Mohonasen) was the high-place finisher on the day. He was edged out by Brandeis University's
Liam Garvey in the 10,000-meter run as Dixon finished second. He ran a 32:50.12 while Garvey ran a 32:48.85.
Sean Foley (Ransomville, NY/Lewiston-Porter) finished sixth in the pole vault with a height of 4.00 meters (13'-1.5").
There are no Saxons competing in the events tomorrow, Thursday May 18. The team will finish with 11 team points.
