ONEONTA, NY- The Utica College men's track and field team wrapped up the regular season Thursday at the Oneonta Final Qualifier.

Nicodemus Gambill (Rochester, NY/East High) came in second in the 200m with a school-record-breaking time of 21.38, just .06 seconds behind Rowan's Shai Mumford.  It marked the first time this outdoor season that Gambill has not finished in first place in either the 100m or 200m.  He did however set a new personal record with his final sprint, putting him tied for 12th nationally and improving his chances to qualify for the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Championships next weekend.  Gambill, who was named an All-American last year at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 100m dash, is also in place to qualify for this year's championships in the 100m as his time of 10.55 is currently sixth in the nation.

Gambill also teamed up with Christian St. Amour (Syracuse, NY/Westhill)Kevin Gangemi (Cornwall, NY/Cornwall Central High School), and Ka'Sean Watlington (Bayport, NY/Bayport-Bluepoint) to take second place in the 4x100m with a time of 42.27.  Gangemi took home third place in the 400m dash as he clocked a time of 48.90.
