HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Cassley Jackowski has been named head coach for the Houghton College women's lacrosse program, Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics H. "Skip" Lord announced on June 20.

A two-year captain, Jackowski was an all-ECC selection in each of her four seasons, including three first-team honors, and was the conference rookie of the year in 2014.
"We are very excited about having someone of Coach Jackowski's caliber on our staff. She has played at a high level, is very connected in the lacrosse hotbeds, and models all that we stand for here at Houghton," said Lord. "We have no doubt that she is the ideal person to build on the foundation laid by her predecessor and lead us on to the next level."
Jackowski, who holds a bachelor's degree in physical education with a minor in coaching, was named the New York State AHPERD Departmental Major of the Year in 2016.

She has also been active as a lacrosse official, holding certifications from US Lacrosse as well as the Rochester and Syracuse official's associations.
"I am very excited to be a part of the Houghton College women's lacrosse program," said Jackowski. "I am looking forward to building and growing the program so that it may soar. This is a unique opportunity where I not only can share my knowledge and passion for lacrosse, but my faith as well. Houghton feels like a place where I can have an immediate impact in a close-knit environment."
A native of Lafayette, N.Y., Jackowski was a two-time Under Armour High School All-America selection and was named to the Brine National All-American Upstate New York team after tallying 343 goals (8
