Two Teams and 18 Individuals Honored for Academic Excellence

The Nazareth College and Stevens Institute of Technology men's basketball squads were recognized with a 2016-17 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award, Wednesday,  July 12 by the association.
 
To earn a NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, teams must have compiled a cumulative team grade point average of 3.0 or better for the 2016-17 season.
 
In addition, 18 E8 men's basketball players were named to the NABC Honors Court, announced Thursday, July 18.

Individuals selected for the Honors Court met the following criteria:
1. Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player.
2. Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2016-17 academic year.
3. Must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
 
The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts that these men possess off the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom. @NABC1927 invites you to share the success of these student-athletes using #NABCHonorsCourt, NABC and TeamExcellence.
