Three Tennis Programs and 31 Student-Athletes Receive ITA Academic Honors

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Alfred University, Elmira College and Stevens Institute of Technology men's and women's tennis teams were recognized for their outstanding performances in the classroom this past season, as the programs received academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). The teams were named to the ITA All-Academic Team, while 16 female and 15 male student-athletes garnered individual accolades by being named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
The ITA All-Academic Team award is presented to teams that have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or above, while individuals earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status by possessing a grade point average of at least 3.50.
