Stevens and Nazareth Ranked In Preseason Poll
The Stevens Institute of Technology and Nazareth College women's soccer teams enter the 2017 campaign ranked No. 15 and No. 24, respectively, in the
United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Women’s preseason ranking.
The United Soccer Coaches, formerly the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), released its preseason rankings August 4.
The Ducks finished the 2016 season with a 19-2 record. The Ducks won their second straight E8 championship and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Nazareth is also coming off another successfull season after posting a 15-4-2 mark and earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament where the Golden Flyers advanced to the second round.
The Ducks will open play on September 1 at perennial power and 2016 national runner-up Messiah College at 7 p.m.
The Golden Flyer's regular season schedule features nine home games, including the season opener, Sept. 1 against Oneonta State at 2 p.m.
