Marcy Reaches 1,000 Career Kills

Anna Marcy made history on Friday as the outside hitter notched her 1,000th career kill as the St. John Fisher College women's volleyball team traveled to Erie, Pa. to compete in the Northwest Pennsylvania Challenge. In the first match of the evening, the Cardinals defeated the host Penn State Behrend in straight sets 25-13, 25-15, 25-21, before falling to the College of Wooster. The Cardinals' record is now 5-2 on the season, while the Lions fall to 1-4 and the Scots improve to 4-3.
Marcy, who moved into 10th place on Fisher's all-time kill list on Friday, continued her strong start to the season offensively finishing with a team-high 11 kills in the first match. She then finished 10 kills, marking the fourst straight match with double digit kills.
