Fisher Baseball Ranked No. 24 by D3baseball.com to Start the Season

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher College baseball team received a boost on Wednesday as the Cardinals were one of 25 teams to be ranked in the initial D3baseball.com national poll after being pegged No. 24 overall.
Ithaca College is among other teams also receiving votes.
Fisher returns a wealth of talent heading into the new season including five players who were named Division III Players to Watch by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. The Cardinals closed out the 2017 campaign with a 31-12 overall record in 2017 and the program's second straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

Anthony Brophy will anchor a rotation that boasts several strong arms.
In all, Fisher returns six All-Conference players and three All-Region selections with seven starting position players set to suit up again in 2018.
Fisher, which was ranked No. 25 by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper earlier this month, will begin its season on the road at No. 8 Johns Hopkins University on February 24th before traveling to Florida for seven games including No. 5 UMass-Boston and No. 6 Concordia-Chicago.
