Stenglein Joins 1,000 Point Club

MONTCLAIR, N.J. – Nazareth senior Tyler Stenglein scored 16 points (5-for-11), pushing his career point total to 1,000, as the Golden Flyers downed Elizabethtown 69-53 in the consolation game of the Montclair Tournament.  Stenglein becomes the 23rd player in program history to reach the 1,000-point plateau, doing so in 56 career games.  He also grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out six assists to record his third double-double of the season.  After pouring in 47 points in the two tournament games, Stenglein garnered All-Tournament honors.
