Stevens, Nazareth Lead the Way Among Empire 8 Members in Fall Learfield Directors' Cup Standings
Ducks Rank in Top 50 Nationally Following Successful Fall Campaign
Stevens and Nazareth are ranked nationally in the Learfield Directors' Cup standings following the fall season. The Ducks accumulated 100 points, good for 47th nationally, while Nazareth garnered 25 points putting them 132nd in the nation overall. Stevens received 50 points from both their men's and women's soccer programs, while Nazareth's points were accumulated from an appearance in the NCAA Volleyball Championship this semester.
The Learfield Directors’ Cup fall standings have Johns Hopkins sitting in first, while Tufts is in second, and Middlebury is ranked third. The Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and
USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
