Dence Breaks her Own School Record
NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. - Tayler Dence of the St. John Fisher College of the women's track and field competed at the NYU Invite at the Armory in New York City.
The Hannibal native started out her day running a 9.43 second bout in the 60-meter hurdles to win her heat, qualifying for the Atlantic Regional Championship and advancing to the finals.
Dence then destroyed her own school record in the 60-meter hurdle final with a blistering time of 9.18 seconds. The time not only breaks the school record, but ranks Dence 35th in the country.
