The Empire 8 women's swimming and diving teams wrapped up day three Friday night at the 2018 Empire 8 Conference Championship in Ithaca, NY. Nazareth College currently holds a 21-point lead over Stevens Institute of Technology.

Hartwick College grabbed the top two spots in the 200 Butterfly, marking the first time a Hawk swimmer has won the event since 2005.  Sophomore Emma Reining touched first in 2:09.07 finishing just ahead of teammate Tori Argentieri. This was Reining's second victory in as many days, having won the 100 butterfly yesterday.
