Charlonne Breaks Utica School-Record in Pentathlon

ITHACA, NY – Utica College junior Brittany Charlonne set a new school-record in the Pentathlon on Sunday as she posted 2,667 points to place ninth out of 34 entries at the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational.

Charlonne finished with a 10.39 in the 60m hurdles, 1.40m in the high jump, 8.45m in the shot put, 4.84m in the long jump, and a time of 2:40.22 in the 800m run. Charlonne currently ranks 68th on the national indoor qualifying list with her score of 2,688.

Utica freshman Shannon Gleason added a finish of 11th place overall with 2,587 points, while Stephanie Feathers added a 19th place finish.

UC returns to the track next weekend when the Pioneers travel to Boston University to compete in the David Hemery Invitational.
