Prescott 24th in 200 breaststroke

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 24, 2018) – Swimming in the final event of her collegiate career Saturday, Stevens Institute of Technology senior Kaitlynn Prescott finished 24th in the 200-yard breaststroke Saturday at the 2018 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at the Indiana University Natatorium.
The Escondido, California native completed the race in 2:22.14, finishing two seconds off seed time of 2:20.13, set at the February's Empire 8 Conference Championships. For the second consecutive day, Denison University's KT Kustritz posted the top preliminary time to head into Saturday evening's championship race as the favorite. The sophomore won the individual title with a time of 2:12.27 and swept the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke national crowns.
