Felice Shatters Two School Records at Bucknell Bison Meet
LEWISBURG, PA. – Several members of the St. John Fisher College track and field teams competed at the Division I Bucknell Bison Meet over the weekend. Several school records were broken at the meet hosted by Bucknell University in Pennsylvania.
James Felice highlighted the events for the men's track and field teams, starting off with an incredible 1500 race time stamp of 3:54.16. This time breaks his previously held school record and moved the senior into ninth place overall in the nation.
The Owego native did not stop there, following up that performance with a new school record in the 800-meter dash with a time stamp of 1:56.69.
As for field events,
Ross Mathewson set a record of his own in the hammer throw. The junior tossed a mark of 49.11 meters, which is over one meter further than his previously held school record. The throw also qualified Mathewson for the Atlantic Regional Competition.
