Katie Weeks Sets School Record in Shot Put

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (April 21, 2018) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's track & field team was edged out by host Vassar College to take second place in a 10-team field at the Vassar Twilight Invitational on Saturday. Katie Weeks won all four throwing events and set a new school-record in the shot put.

Katie Weeks was first in the discus at 43.04 meters, first in the javelin at 36.04 meters, 1st in the hammer in new PR mark of 44.85 meters and first in the shot put in a new school-record of 13.94 meters, which is currently ranked No. 5 in DIII.
