Elmira's Kevin DiMagno scored a goal with just three seconds left before halftime to give EC a 7-6 lead over Utica.
Alfred University’s Lea Georgatos popped a single just over the glove of the Nazareth shortstop to score Shannon Schaefer while Lu Krawczyk slid safely to third. Naz’s third baseman tried to get Georgatos out at second but threw a low ball as she advanced on the throw to third and allowed Krawczyk to jog home.
Utica's Matt Fedullo scored unassisted less than a minute into the game.
Alfred University’s Shane Weber, caused a turnover, retrieved the groundball, ran it coast-to-coast and sniped the shot for the goal!
