Ruegger earns D3Baseball.com Team of the Week accolade

D3Baseball.com's Team of the Week, the media outlet announced late Monday evening. It's the first D3Baseball.com Team of the Week recognition for Stevens Baseball this season.
Ruegger struck out 15 in a one-hit, complete-game shutout as Stevens defeated the State University of New York at Canton 3-0 on March 30. The Morris Plains, New Jersey native allowed just an infield single in the third and retired the last 20 batters he faced. Ruegger has struck out at least seven in every start this season and his 48 strikeouts are second in the conference, behind classmate Danny Poidomani.
As a team, Stevens has pitched to a 3.79 ERA, good for second in the conference. Duck pitching has struck out 214 batters in 187 2-3 innings and are holding opponents to a conference-low .235 average.
