Dello Russo Qualifies in 400 on NCAA Day Two; Weeks Places 10th

Gina Dello Russo of Stevens Institute of Technology is seeded second after setting a school-record in the 400-meter prelims of the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday.

Katie Weeks took 10th nationally in a throwing event, taking the dec spot in the shot put to finish just outside the cut with a mark of 13.45 meters.
Dello Russo won heat #2 in the 400 prelims in a blistering time of 54.65 seconds, setting a new personal best and lowering her own school-record from 55.25 seconds.
Dello Russo will run in both the 400- and 200-meter National Finals on Saturday. The 400 will be contested at 1:20 p.m. and the 200 will be at 2:50 p.m.
