Lynch Earns National Honor as Member of the USILA D3 Team of the Week

Jake Lynch (Whitney Point, NY/Whitney Point) was placed on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week on Wednesday.
Lynch tied the school record again for most goals in a single game as he tallied three hat-tricks against Utica College and helped the Saxons tack down the No. 3 seed in the Empire 8 Tournament. Lynch scored the first five goals of the game on Saturday with all of them occurring in the first 10 minutes of the first quarter. He totaled 18 shots and one groundball. His record is also an Empire 8 record for most goals in a game.
On Monday, he was named the Empire 8 Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week and also on Wednesday, was named the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Division III North Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week.
Lynch joins nine other Division III men's lacrosse players from across the country to be listed on the team. Earlier in the season, teammate and fellow captain,
Shane Weber (Hull, MA/Hull) was selected on the Division III Team of the Week by the USILA.
