Nazareth To Unveil New Athletic Brand

imageROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Nazareth College Golden Flyers will have a new look, starting this fall, as Nazareth Athletics unveils a new brand that will be displayed prominently among the Golden Flyers' 25 intercollegiate teams and multiple athletic facilities.

"We have been using the current logos for about 20 years, so it was time to head in a different direction," said Nazareth Athletic Director Pete Bothner. "The new logo gives us a fresh and distinctive look that captures the energy and pride of our programs and is more consistent with the College's overall look."

The new logo embodies the fierce, competitive and focused spirit of the Golden Flyers. The Flyers' traditional purple and gold uniform colors also are being updated to stay consistent with the Nazareth College official school color palette. The new identity also includes new team word marks for each sport that provide a more consistent and distinctive presence.

Nazareth's in-house Senior Designer Brian Abbamonte, with input from marketing communication and athletics department staffers, created the new brand identity, which will be integrated into team uniforms, fanwear, gear and environmental features on campus this fall.
